So I was gifted this ampersand cut Saturday by Ben at Columbia Gorge Book Arts and because I am busy teaching myself letterpress printmaking I was itching to make something with this cool new thing. 

I went through a few minutes of myself with my foot on the brake, thinking; I should be working on this, or that, or at least something else. I was also thinking to myself; ok, AND what?  

Then it hit me. AND WHY NOT indeed. Why do I so often not do whimsical, new, random things whenever I can.

It sounds simple, I know it does, but this card has been my ticket to take my foot off the brake.

I recommend it to all of you artists who read my blog, time to get yourself a ticket to do the things you are dreaming about.
