The Broadside | explore Printmaking and Letterpress

Come spend time at Cascabel Press to explore the Broadside.

A broadside is the perfect way to learn about printmaking & Letterpress and the wonderful way these two art forms can combine in a single object.

Think about a single sheet with an image and some type. This introductory project mentorship can be as simple as some small mail art with your picture and a couple lines of type. If you are feeling more ambitious then we can work together to print a larger image with more type.  It all depends on what you want this object to be.

The timeline for these mentorships will be a bit fluid depending on the project you have in mind. I will teach you the needed printmaking and letterpress skills over the course of a series of short 3 hours sessions here at the studio. The number of sessions needed would be between 2-5 depending on the project.

Students will pay for paper and any plate materials at cost, all other materials are included.
