Printmaking using etched copper plates has a long history in the art world. Intaglio prints made from etched copper plates represent the artists hand in a complete and heartfelt way. Starting with a drawing we will work together to create a printing plate from a sheet of copper. Depending on the outcome you desire for your prints we will together apply a variety of techniques and materials to the plate for most of the day. By the end of the day you will have a small edition of intaglio prints with marks made by your hand,

Yes, I am fully vaccinated and accepting students to my studio that are likewise vaccinated

for the last 32 years I have worked in the cozy basement of my 110 year old home in Portland Oregon. Your fine prints are made here and are a product of my love of photography and art.
