As many of you may know I for many years I made photographs of the nude figure and printed the work in platinum metals. I work far less in this genre now and make few new negatives like these. I have been enjoying going back to the archive and selecting my favorite work to apply printmaking methods and looking at the work in a new medium.
This hand-pulled polymer photogravure print is made withGamblin bone black and sepia ink, on Rives BFK paper. I decided on a chine collé with Awagami Kitakata. and an edition of 9 numbered prints and 3 A/P prints.
