After a week of exploring Prague and the surrounding area I am feeling like I am in my groove. The photographs I have been making feel honest and in touch with both the subjects I am seeing and my never-ending goal of finding calm beauty. I am, as usual drawn to the beautiful architecture and have been striving to look for what makes Prague unique yet like the work I've made on my trips to France the last couple of years. I look forward to traveling out to the countryside to make some pictures in the woods of Bohemia, I find working in the landscape of a new place is always rewarding if not refreshing.

All the while I am dreaming and planning my next hand-made book project. The pictures, the typefaces influenced by the art deco & art nuevo so prevalent here in Prague. The color and textures of the covers and papers influenced by the mood and colors I see. I am wanting to have more writing for this book, some of mine, some by others from history. A dozen photogravure photographs will be the key element for sure and the object with be rich with texture and meaning.

I plan to announce the next edition the week of October 7th .
